Hotel Villa Flori occupies a beautiful panoramic position directly on the western shores of Lake Como, just minutes from the centre of the city.

Originally an aristocratic villa, recently completely restored, Hotel Villa Flori conserves the old world charm of the 19th century while providing innovative, contemporary comforts.

Villa Flori, built in the 1800’s by the nobleman Marchese Raimondi, was converted into a hotel in 1958 then renovated in 1992. Today the hotel is known on the international hospitality scene as an absolutely unique destination.

During the course of the intensive restoration efforts which took two years to complete, the aim was to maintain the charm of the original 19th century atmosphere, conserving delicate stucco work and the delightful floral frescoes, the rich parquet floors and details of the antique furnishing accessories.

The building’s utility systems are completely new, with special attention to energy savings and a reduced environmental impact. The division of the spaces, while respecting the original structure, has opened up new panoramic views that are a continuous source of wonder.

All of the rooms look out onto Lake Como: from a balcony, a terrace, from the wide windows open on every side, each providing fabulous views of one of the world’s most enchanting and well-known vistas. Even the common areas are designed to open up towards the outdoors, protected by the age-old vegetation of the park.

A private dock provides access from the waterfront to the Raimondi Restaurant and to the hotel. On request, it is also possible to arrange boat trips for a tour of the lake.
The view is spectacular: spanning from the border of Torno in Blevio, with its bell tower that rises up over the village, the mountain of Brunate, the cupola of Como’s cathedral and, further off in the distance, the tower of the Baradello Castle.

Originally used as the “Music Room”, this is where breakfast is served to guests. A peaceful, luminous and elegant space opens up to the outside to begin the day in direct contact with Lake Como.

Villa Flori offers its guests 52 rooms, including a junior suite, all with an enveloping charm.

Each room has its own exclusive beauty. Always open on Lake Como, the wide windows provide a considerable range of different views, from the terraces and the balconies.
