In 1980 it was purchased through a public voluntary subscription by the people and friends of Varenna for public use.
Owned by public organizations, mainly by the Municipality of Varenna, it is managed as a Hotel by the Cofely S.p.A. Group that has restored it in compliance with the pre-existing architectural lines.
The Hotel Villa Cipressi offers 32 rooms, each different from the other, and 4 suites, able to accommodate up to 75 guests, furnished with style and elegance and fitted with every comfort.

The Hotel Villa Cipressi also offers the possibility to organise banquets and ceremonies, meetings and high profile conference in its elegant rooms that can accommodate up to 150 people.
