The Castadiva Resort, formerly known as Villa Pasta, has neoclassical lines, a covered portico, large rooms where the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta lived and died in the nineteenth century, who bequeathed her name to the property for a few decades.
The residence was demolished in 1904 to become Roccabruna, commissioned by the Wild family industrialists of Turin. The architect, Carlo Formenti, redesigned the property in an eclectic Renaissance style that can still be noted and admired, to create a five star hotel complex with a wonderful SPA on Lake Como.
The gardens of the Castadiva Resort echo of history, while the eclectic Renaissance-style villa, shrouded in singular beauty, brings us back to the time when it was the home of the opera singer Giuditta Pasta, the inspirational muse of Vincenzo Bellini.
This is where the composer, stirred by the lakeside landscape between Moltrassio and Blevio, created two of his greatest works.
Today, the 5 star luxury resort on Lake Como with 75 rooms, restaurant, 4 meetings rooms and a SPA of 1,300 m2 surrounded by secular gardens, is an enchanting place for being pampered by unparalleled comforts and services.
The rooms, suites and villas are surprising for their breathtaking views of the lake, made even more charming by the incredible effect of the light that breaks on the water’s surface.
The CastaDiva Resort & SPA offers clients seeking the most unique experience on Lake Como two magnificent villas located on the sprawling grounds of the Resort where guests can take advantage of all the hotel’s services while conserving the privacy and exclusivity that only a private villa can offer.
Villa Norma and Villa Amina, which are part of the Castadiva Resort, are available for short-term rental with services ranging from private housekeeping, butler and private chef.
CastaDiva Resort & SPA offers its guests a wide array of cuisines, paired with impeccable service and the highest quality ingredients.
What makes the CastaDiva Resort truly unique is its SPA, 1300 m2 devoted to the four elements: fire, earth, air and water.
A wide range of activities and sports on Lake Como are located near the Castadiva resort, such as 7 golf courses:

CastaDiva Resort & SPA is located in Blevio, just 5 km from Como, 45 km from Milan and 37 km from Lugano (Switzerland).
It is easy to reach from Milan’s Malpensa Airport, the Orio al Serio Airport in Bergamo and the Lugano Airport.
The splendid town of Blevio is made up by seven villages, known as the “seven cities”, located on the rocky slopes of the mountains in the backdrop.
Almost all of the residences in the town offer sweeping and enchanting views, making Blevio the preferred location for building luxurious villas for many years. Trails start out from the higher villages that will take visitors on a one-hour walk leading to the so-called “Mountains of Blevio” (approx. 600 m. altitude), from where they can enjoy splendid views over the lake.
Starting from the dock of the CastaDiva Resort , along the shores of the lake, particularly from Cernobbio to Gravedona and to Bellagio, you can admire the beautiful villas with parks, rich with flowers and exotic and rare plants.
