Lake Como Festival 2013- Most Awaited Musical Celebration of the Year

Lake Como is beautiful every month of the year but during official Lake Como Festival, its air has a different tune and rhythm. The festival is a must-attend if you want to experience global music scene.

The 2013 version kicked off on the first day of September and will conclude on October 4. All the events will be taking place in some of the most opulent villas in Como region. Municipality of Como is hosting the festival and will make sure that visitors are in for a special musical treat.

Luigi Cavadini, Minister of Culture of the Municipality of Como, and Floraleda Sacks, Artistic Director of the Festival LakeComo, greeted visitors, partners and attendees through the official website sharing details about the 2013 program.

The opening night’s performance was marked by the presence of Piero Salvatori, renowned cello artist & theater performer, and Floraleda Sacks, critically acclaimed harpist.

All the eight days of musical extravaganza will be marked by the presence of global personalities from different fields of music.

In addition to concert performance from Reinhard Seehafer, celebrated conductor and pianist, the last day of the festival, October 4, will offer visitors a guided tour of Villa Vigoni. The tour will cost 10 € and give participants the opportunity to explore the villa and gardens not usually open for public.
