In 1980 it was purchased through a public voluntary subscription by the people and friends of Varenna for public use.
Owned by public organizations, mainly by the Municipality of Varenna, it is managed as a Hotel by the Cofely S.p.A. Group that has restored it in compliance with the pre-existing architectural lines. The property is available for rent for hosting high profile meetings and ceremonies on Lake Como.
Villa Cipressi offers 32 rooms, each different from the other, and 4 suites, able to accommodate up to 75 guests, furnished with style and elegance and fitted with every comfort.
Villa Cipressi also offers the possibility to organise banquets, meetings, and weddings on Lake Como in its large, elegant rooms that can accommodate up to 150 people.
The “La Contrada” Restaurant offers revisited versions of local and international dishes and is immersed in the hotel’s secular park.
