The design of the gardens dates back to the Renaissance period. The two most important landmarks are the 500 year old plane tree and the 16th century Mosaic. The trees range from chestnut, magnolia, oleafragrans, wisteria, palm, cypress, pine, ilex, privet and many others.
Villa D'Este offers refined and welcoming rooms and suites with a classic décor. The 152 rooms are located throughout the sixteenth century Villa del Cardinale and inside the Queen’s Pavilion, a charming structure dating back to 1860.
